Police on the verge of making an arrest in assault case

"Lushaba reported the matter to the police. We have received ample information regarding the incident and are confident that we will make an arrest soon".

KANYAMAZANE – The local police say they are about to make an arrest in the assault case opened by the Ehlanzeni’s district director, Mr Mfana Lushaba.

Lushaba was allegedly intimidated, threatened and assaulted by some members of a group who disturbed a meeting between parents of Cefups Academy, with officials from the Department of Education at Mgwenya Circuit on November 9.

WO Andries Skwambane confirmed the incident and added that a case of assault had been opened.

“Lushaba reported the matter to the police. We have received ample information regarding the incident and are confident that we will make an arrest soon,” said Skwambane.
