SAPS takes priority in educating the community

The SAPS plays a crucial role in commitment by demonstrating courage in building the next generation future.

PIENAAR – Maminza Primary School recently visited Pienaar Police Station to learn about various career opportunities within the South African Police Services (SAPS).

Speaking on behalf of the school, Ms Thoko Nyathikazi stated that it was their first visit to the Police Station, especially inside the holding cells.
“This was certainly an eye opener for the children,”she said.
“We believe that this move will also promote and motivate our children to inspire to become future safe keepers, while at the same time staying away from criminal activities,”she went on.

The local police spokesperson, Lt Jabu Ndubane said the initiative, which was aimed at inspiring the learners, was a runaway success.
During their visit, the learners were showered with presents ranging from shirts, shoes, posters and booklets
