MBOMBELA- Educational MEC, Ms Reginah Mhaule commended the National Association of
School Governing Bodies (NASGB) for their contribution towards the attainment of quality education in the country and province in particular.
This is after members of schools governing bodies (SGB) in the country recently launched a handbook titled Comprehensive Guide to Effective and Efficient SGB, published by the NASGB.
The launch took place at the Cradle of Life in Badplaas, Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality.
“The launch of this book is testimony of this patriotic thinking and it resonateswell with the vision that is espoused in the National Development Plan, (NDP). What fascinates us, is that the move by the NASGB is in the best interest of education and the future of our children and country,” said Mhaule.
