Mpumalanga’s Public Servants moarns journalist’s death

The journalist's extra mile in public service shall not surpass unnoticed.

MBOMBELA- Mpumalanga Public Servants Social Club joins Mpumalanga Provincial Government, all people of Mpumalanga Province, family, friends and colleagues and mourns the untimely death of Mpumalanga Province’s talented journalist who was the SOWETAN’s correspondent in Mpumalanga Province.

This rising star who won Sowetan 2014 Journalist of the year Award Mr Mazibila (27) died on Friday night after spending some hours in the ICU following a car crash in where he sustained serious injuries.

Maziliba was born in Acornhoek and started his career at Media24 Academy before working in Cape Town at its HQ and later became a Drum Magazine junior reporter. He later joined Sowetan. He obtained his degree on media studies in 2009 from University of Limpopo. During that time he founded and edited The News Reporter a Student publication.
