Local gospel star lets his light shine in the States
Locally born singer, Sibusiso Sibiya (28) of Mananga in the Nkomazi Local Municipality made South Africa proud after scooping the first prize in the RnB category in the Talent Africa 2015 competition that took place in New York in the United States of America from July 5 to 16.
Sibusiso, who works as a plant operator at Forrometals, also came back with the second prize in the gospel category.
He describes himself as a person who provides powerful messages of God to people and who loves worship music.
During Mpumalanga News’ interview with him, he stated that he was happy to have had such a wonderful experience in winning the Talent Africa 2015 and the tour to America as well. “I am so blessed and thank for giving me the opportunity and also sponsoring my trip.
“I also got a call from one of the European agencies which showed their interest in giving me vocal coaching, and training in song composition and production,” he said.
