Long wanted suspects finally arrested
The suspects were arrested on the same day and were found in possession of the stolen money and other stolen goods.
KANYAMAZANE- Two men in their early 20s were arrested in connection with robbing a complainant lots of cash and his cell phones using a toy gun.
According to the spokesperson of Kanyamazane Police station, WO Andries Skwambane, the two men used a toy gun to force the victim to give them his belongings.
“They started by beating him and when he fought back he was then threatened to be shot by the said gun, which he didnot noticed that it was not a real gun,” explained Skwambane.
The suspects were arrested on the same day and were found in possession of the said money and other stolen goods.He added that the suspects were long wanted by the police for other criminal activities in the area, as they are well known to be terrorizing the community. They will soon appear in Kanyamazane Magistrate Court. Skwambane urged locals to report people who are a threat to their safety.
