Author shares the culture of reading to youngsters
The province's writer and author of “The Mind of the Mind” Ronny Banda has been nominated to represent the province and the country at large in the coming Annual Author Awards to take place in the Saarland the capital city of Saarbrucken in Germany.The awards will take place on September 22.
Ronny’s achievement comes after listening to the call made by the MEC for Education, Ms Reginah Mhaule for young writers to write and promote the culture of reading to youngsters, “I thank the MEC for her painstaking and diligent guidance, I think my work is seriously based on innovation the lives of other people. This simple because innovation is when what we know is combining with what we do not know”, said Banda.
Ronny has been to local radio stations including Rise Fm, Nkomazi Fm, Ligwalagwala Fm and have been interviewed live on MItv, SABC News where he shared his wisdom of writing books, he had since three books.
Ronny is currently looking for an investor to sell more of his copies to. He also thank the support he received from local media, “I thank the support from all local newspapers and radio stations for the support given by each of them,”he said.
