Re-swearing in of the acting premier is an insult

MBOMBELA – The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the province believes that the re-swearing of the Mec for safety, security and liaison Mr Vusi Shongwe as an acting premier is an insult to the residents.
The opposition party indicates that it is about time for the ANC to show decisive leadership instead of burdening the province with an acting premier.
The party calls on the ruling party to stand up and support the opposition parties call for the appointment of a new premier.
Premier David Mabuza has been on a sick leave for months now after he allegedly collapsed to fatigue in September this year leaving MEC Shongwe standing in as the acting premier.
