IEC ready host media summit

WHITE RIVER – The Electoral Commission (IEC) in the province will be hosting a media summit today at Ingwenyama Lodge.

Mpumalanga News has learnt that journalists from different media houses, communicators and politicians are expected to attend.

During the summit, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is expected to present on the New Regulations Governing Electoral Broadcasts during elections period.

The spokesperson of IEC in the province, Mr Sibusiso Nkosi said that some of the delegates that were expected to grace the summit include the recently appointed chairperson, Commissioner Glen Mashinini and local editors.
