MBOMBELA –  According to MEC for health department, Mr Gillion Mashego, Dr Nonhlanhla Mkhize’s three year contract was due to end on November 30 but was however ended on Tuesday after a mutual agreement between her and her employer.

Representing the executive council, Mashego appreciated the good work done by Mkhize in the past three years of her term.

“We commend Dr Mkhize for uniting the provincial administration including the municipalities and we wish her well on her future endeavours,” Mashego added.

Meanwhile, the deputy director general for Macro Policy and Planning in the office of the premier, Mr Thulani Mdakane has been appointed as the acting director general.
