Nathi brings music from the heart to fans in the Lowveld
“Bazali bam, ngibizeleni uNomvula wami.” Nomvula has until this weekend to show up at Emnotweni Arena, and we hope that she heeds the call.

Nathi Mankayi will be searching for his Nomvula alongside Vusi Nova, and we are excited to be a part of this history in the making, considering that it would be his first performance in the Lowveld.

In an interview with Mpumalanga News, Nathi confessed that he had not
yet found his Nomvula, but this province should expect nothing short of good music. “I write music from my heart, which I think is why it is easy to go straight to other people’s hearts, and for them to relate so easily.
Mpumalanga people should look forward to my live performance and rendition of good music. It is going to be amazing,” said Nathi.

His album, Buyelekhaya, is doing very well on the shelves and being
a newcomer in the game, Nathi says although there is pressure to keep up, he will continue writing sentimental music for his followers.
“Being a newcomer is very challenging, because people are expecting
more from me, however, I will continue making music from my heart. I would also like to thank South Africa for such a wonderful reception, it feels good to know that people love and appreciate my music, I feel very blessed.”
His collaboration with Vusi Nova also received beautiful support from the fans. Their “Nomakanjani” track has also become very popular.
Nathi confirmed that this song was such a success and they are now working on an album together.
“The song is just so great, making it was magical and our voices blended together. As a result we will record an album together.” Vusi Nova also gave his word that they will raise the roof on Saturday at
Emnotweni.
“Nomakanjani came literally a week after we met with Nathi in Johanneburg. I remember we were in the studio and we were having
a conversation about life in general, and also just our admiration of the late great Brenda Fassie, and the rest is history as they say. We will set the house on fire this Saturday, Mpumalanga better be
ready,” said Vusi.
