Premier resumes his duties

“I heard several times people saying that I am dead and that my family was already busy with my funeral arrangements"

MBOMBELA – Members of the ANC from Ehlanzeni ,Gert Sibande and Nkangala district came in numbers to paint the legislature yellow during the welcoming ceremony of premier David Mabuza. Mabuza has been out of office for over two months.

Delivering his keynote address, Mabuza confirmed that he was sick but he’s feeling stronger and ready to resume office.

”It’s good to be back, I feel much better and ready to resume my duties as a premier “said Mabuza.

The premier also took advantage of the opportunity to lambast media houses that misled the public by reporting that had passed on.

“I heard several times people saying that I am dead and that my family was already busy with my funeral arrangements.

Others reported that I’m losing my mind somewhere and I don’t know where they got all of that. It’s sad that people would hate somebody to the extent of wishing them death.”
