It’s D day for matriculants all over the country

The department of Social Development has put all measures in place for the learners that will need counselling.

MBOMBELA – It’s D day for matriculants all over the country and the nerves have evidently started to kick in. With Umalusi announcing the drop in the percentage for the 2015 class, the department of Social Development has put all measures in place for the learners that will need counselling.

“We don’t have provincial command centres as this is a national project, but people can call the number, or they can contact their nearest social workers in case they need physical interaction. We wish all the best for those receiving their results tomorrow,” said the provincial spokesperson for the department, Mr Ronnie Masilela.

The command centre can be reached toll-free on 0800-428-428. Callers can also request a social worker at the centre to contact them by dialling *120*7867# (free) from any cell phone.
