Gospel sounds to sooth the soul during awards

MBOMBELA – The famous gospel TV channel, Dumisa is set to grace the first instalment of the annual Zion Gospel Music Awards, scheduled for next Saturday, February 06 at Kanyamazane Community Hall.

Tickets for the awards are now selling at Sneakers Edition outlets. They are selling at R120 each. Also headlining the awards are Zion Gospel groups from both Swaziland and Mpumalanga who are billed to entertain and showcase their crafts.
Thabo Banda, spokesperson and one of the organisers said tickets for the show area already selling and pleaded with the public to purchase theirs now to avoid disappointments.
“Like we have been saying all along that even though the awards are being held for the first time and but we expect a huge turnout. It’s no secret that this type of music category is as huge as all the other genres and so, you’d understand why we anticipate a sold out event. So, it’s best to buy your tickets now and reserve your space,” he said. He went on and guaranteed that all the groups billed to
perform during the awards will be there. He said some of these groups will be performing in the country for the first time.
