Gareth Cliff reinstated as Idols judge
Cliff won his bid to be reinstated as a judge of the popular talent scouting show, Judge Caroline Nicholls ruled in the High Court in Johannesburg.
MBOMBELA – Outspoken radio personality, Gareth Cliff, has reportedly won the immense lawsuit against M-Net on Friday, hours before the first auditions for the show were due to start.
According to The Citizen, Judge Caroline Nicholls made clear prior her order that the case was on contracts and not racism or free speech. The court ordered that M-Net also pay costs. Speaking outside court Cliff said further details will be provided at a press conference on Saturday after the judgement is studied.
