Police educate learners about rape

BARBERTON – Local police are expected to visit different schools in this area, where they are scheduled to teach learners about rape.

This is after a spate of sexual and children abuse cases have been recorded especially here.

The spokesperson of the local police, Const Tutu Nkosi said, “We have decided to visit schools around the area to teach them about abuse especially rape because children are still falling victims of rape in our society.”

Mpumalanga News has reliable learnt that the police will be working with different structures such as GRIP who play a vital role on issues of abuse and rape.
