Mpumalanga gets a new Director-General

According to the Premier’s Spokesperson, Mr Zibonele Mncwango, this was done in Bushbuckridge, where the executive council held its meeting in as part of the 'Taking the Legislature to the People' program.

MBOMBELA – Mpumalanga has a new Provincial Administration Director-General, Mr Thulani Mdakane, whose appointment was made official today.

According to the Premier’s Spokesperson, Mr Zibonele Mncwango, this was done in Bushbuckridge, where the executive council held its meeting in as part of the ‘Taking the Legislature to the People’ program.

“We take this opportunity on behalf of Mpumalanga Premier, Mr David Mabuza, to congratulate and welcome on board the newly appointed Mpumalanga Provincial Administration’s Director-General, Mr Thulani Mdakane, whose employment was confirmed by the executive council today,” Said Mncwango.

Mdakane had been acting on the post since it became vacant in September last year. Congratulating him are COGTA MEC Refilwe Mtsweni and Education MEC Reginah Mhaule as well as other officials from the private secretariat.
