Finance MEC to table out the budget speech

MBOMBELA – The Finance MEC, Mr Eric Kholwane will table the provincial budget speech today.

Expectations from people on the ground are very high since they have raised a number of services that they expect from the provincial government.

“We want to hear how much is being allocated to the department of education because some of the schools are not in a good state. They need serious make-overs,” said a concerned parent, Ms Daisy Ngomane.

Meanwhile, the leader of the EFF in the province, Mr Collen Sedibe said, “We are going to hear nothing but same old song. We are not expecting something new because there is no sign of improvement, our children are still learning under trees and health institutions are a disgrace.”
