Voting station addresses and mobile routes published

Voters are reminded that they may only vote at the voting station where they are registered.

The Electoral Commission has today published the addresses of all 22 612 voting stations for the August 3, 2016 Municipal Elections in line with the election timetable.

The full list of addresses is available on the Electoral Commission’s website www.elections.org.za. The list of addresses of voting stations for each municipality is also available for inspection at the relevant local Electoral Commission office.

The routes and approximate times for the 31 mobile voting stations are also available.

Voters are reminded that they may only vote at the voting station where they are registered. To check the address of their voting station voters can:

  • Dial *120*432# and follow the prompts
  • SMS your ID number to 32810 (at a cost of R1)
  • Click the “My Registration Details” button on www.elections.org.za
  • Call the Electoral Commission Contact Centre on 0800 11 8000 (7am – 9pm weekdays)
