MBOMBELA- The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters in Mpumalanga, Mr Collen Sedibe leads hundreds of Umbhaba Banana estate in Hectorspruit, calling for reinstatement and payment of workers today.
According to an eyewitness. “It seems like it was teargas being fires to disperse the workers” she said.

Workers at Umbhaba Banana farm have been on strike since November last year. The workers are demanding to be unionised, something which had been rejected by the farm’s management all this long.
