Pedestrian dies after hit and run

* On Tuesday afternoon, a minibus and a sedan were involved in a head-on collision on the D797 road at Tonga. Both drivers were seriously injured.
* On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian was knocked down on the N4 near the Nkomazi Toll Plaza. The pedestrian died and the driver fled the scene.
* On Thursday morning, a truck and four sedans were involved in a head-on collision on the N4 near Kiaora. Four occupants of the vehicles were seriously injured while five sustained slight injuries.
* On Friday afternoon, a driver and four passengers were seriously injured during an accident between a sedan and a bakkie on the R38 in Masoyi.
* On Saturday evening a train bus was involved in a side swipe with a bakkie on the R40 near the Tshwane University of Technology. Both drivers were seriously injured.
* On Sunday morning, a truck and a sedan were involved in a side swipe on the D2950 at Goba in Mbuzini where two passengers were seriously injured and two sustained slight injuries.
