CAROLINA – Three people were killed when two sedans collided head-on on the R33 road between Carolina and Wonderfontein last night around 20:45.
According to Joseph Mabuza, spokesperson for the department of community safety, security and liaison, the victims included two foreign nationals from Swaziland nationals and a Bangladeshi national.
“One occupant was seriously injured, while four others sustained slight injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals,” he said.
He added that drivers from both vehicles survived the crash. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
