Finally residents have water in River Side

TEKWANE NORTH – Finally residents of River Side section have water.
This comes after Sembcorp Silulumanzi on Thursday filled up the three community Jojo tanks to supply water in the community.

Mpumalanga News learnt that for almost a week the community were forced to drink dirty water from a nearby stream after the utility failed to fill the tanks.

The communication officer of Sembcorp-Silulumanzi, Mr Richmond Jele told this newspaper that the drought and low dam levels were the reason for non-delivery, but also pointed out illegal connections from the reservoir near Emoyeni Mall were a concern.
