DD to lure malema back to the ANC
He attributes declining membership to factionalism and arrogance. Chairperson of the African National Congress has made it clear that he wants Julius Malema back in the party.
MBOMBELA – The premier, Mr David Mabuza called on those who left the African National Congress to return home, including Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Mr Julius Malema.
This follows after the provincial ANC Youth League held a two-day Provincial General Council(PGC) at the weekend at the Tswane University of Technology.
Mabuza attributed declining membership to factionalism and arrogance. “If we still had Malema in the ranks, things would be better. We can still work together despite clashing of personalities. We are stronger when we are all within the ANC, but when people leave, we are weaker,” he said.

Former Deputy President of the Youth League, Mr Ronald Lamola explained that those members that left the party did so because there were disagreements.
“For the fact that the ANC admits there were mistakes made in the past and the party agrees to correct them, because they want to work as a unit with the issue of land means there can be commonalities. ”
