Russians mean business on tourism

"The wheels are already in motion with our presence here and your delegation's tour of Russia last month. We're here to gather material that will interest our clients back home,"- Mr Mikhali Maltcev.

DURBAN- The leader of the Russian delegation, Mr Mikhali Maltcev that met up with the Mpumalanga delegation has indicated that the agreement signed between them and the province has already begun being rolled out “because we Russians are not talkers but doers.”

“This should be a reciprocal gesture from both ends. At least the visa issue between our countries has been resolved. For us it’s business going forward, ” he said.

MEC Eric Kholwane reiterated his words when he said : “It’s already begun. We’ll work on progress and go forward. We’ll be speaking to airline companies to waiver certain things to make affordable to land their planes here.. who knows, we may eventually have a direct flight from Russia to here.”
