
MBOMBELA – Christians communities are urged not to turn a blind eye when it comes to fighting HIV/AIDS.
The coordinator of the Local Aids Council at City of Mbombela Northern region, Ms Olga Mazibuko said in churches they are still not welcomed to teach about the disease.

“This is everybody’s business regardless of your race and gender, but we have a concern about church leaders as they are not hands-on in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

In order to win this battle, we must unite as citizens and speak in one voice. It’s a good thing to know your status and when you tested and you find out that indeed you are positive, start to take your treatment and it’s not a shame to do that,”said Mazibuko.
