13:10 : The deceased are being taken to a government mortuary while some family members have also arrived at the scene as well as the MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Pat Ngomane.
12:30: The death toll has increased to 18 as more people were discovered under wreckage after a truck collided with two taxis this morning. It is reported that two drivers passed away.
09:46: Three vehicles collided on the R541 Road between Badplaas and Machadodorp around 6.00am.
The truck coming from the Badplaas direction collided with a 22 seater midibus which hit a minibus taxi from behind leaving 12 people dead and 16 injured who were rushed to Belfast Hospital and one airlifted to Mbombela.
