UPDATE: SANParks employees strike suspended

The CCMA requested both parties to go back to the negotiation table and revert with a solution no later than Monday, 24 July 2017.

The strike by the workers from the South African National Parks has been called off following another session facilitated by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) between South African National Parks (SANParks) management and the Health and Other Service Personnel Trade Union of South Africa (HOSPERSA) this morning. Both parties agreed to suspend the strike until Monday, 24 July 2017.
