SABC invites stakeholders for editorial policy review

The discussions will focus on news editorial policy, policies on programming, local content, education, universal service and access, language and religion.

SABC is inviting stakeholders for the editorial policy public hearing.  The SABC team working on the project wants meet to with the relevant individuals within organisations at the public hearings to discuss the Editorial Policies, review processes as well as key issues contained in the policies requiring rigorous debate.

This forms part of the development of the new editorial policies that will provide a framework which will enable the public broadcaster to best serve the needs of South Africans.

The public hearings will take place in three different venues around the province:

Date: 15 August 2017

Time: 09:00 – 12:00

Venue: City Hall, Municipal Building, Mandela Street

Date: 16 August 2017

Time: 09:00 – 12:00

Venue: Khotso Totesi Lapa, 9774 Standerton road, Embalenhle
