Baby boy abandoned at orphanage home

The naked baby was only wrapped in a maroon T-shirt and a wet towel.

A new born baby boy wrapped in wet towels was found abandoned at Mama Esther’s Haven, Msholozi outside White River yesterday morning.
According to the founder of the centre, ‘Mama’ Esther Nkosi, she could not believe her eyes when she came across the naked baby only wrapped in a maroon T-shirt and a wet towel at her door steps.
“He looks just a few hours old and I had to save his life as soon as I could. I rushed him to Rob Ferreira Hospital before I could even call the police,” says Nkosi.

The baby is in a stable condition, social workers and the police are still to be involved in the matter.
