Parks Agency empowers learners

This initiative forms part of all the projects which are meant to promote the tourism month which is September.

The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency in collaboration with the department of education are hosting grade 11 learners doing tourism in different schools in the province to expose them to the opportunities available in the sector at Kruger National Park.

Institutions from the department of higher learning are present to empower the learners with the programs they are offering.

The program is aimed at empowering close to 420 school learners from school circuits in the Bohlabela, Ehlanzeni, Nkangala, Gert Nsibande, Mopani will spend a night in the park on alternative days.
Learners will take part in activities such as sunset drives, site visits and bush braai.
