Residents spend two days without water

It is alleged that community members are sabotaging each other by bridging main pipes

It is alleged that there are residents who bridged water pipes that are supposed to supply water to Bhejukufa and some parts of Nkohlakalo.

One of the concerned community members, Sibusisiwe Ntiwane told this newspaper that they tried to approach those people accused of bridging the pipes, but their outcry fell on deaf ears.

“We approached them, but it seems like they don’t want to cooperate and now we are forced to push wheelbarrows to the community Jojo tanks that are installed near the main road and it’s a long distanceforo some of us. We asked the municipality to intervene,”said Ntiwane.
