Man rapes ex-girlfriend
It is alleged that the suspect threatened to rape a sister of the victim and set alight her house

KAMHLUSHWA- Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend yesterday in this area.
According to the information received by this publication, it is alleged that the ex-boyfriend called the woman to his place as he wanted to be given a second chance to rebuild their relationship.
Mpumalanga News also learnt that the woman refused to meet him. He went further and threatened to rape a sister of the victim and set alight her house. After receiving the threats, the woman decided to visit the suspect who allegedly raped her.
The station commander of the local police station, Capt Mzwandile Nyambi confirmed the incident and went on and urged women not to keep quiet when they are receiving threats from their partners.

“I want to encourage woman to learn to stand their grounds and report issues of abuse in their relationships or report when they are receiving threats from their partners.
The suspect is still at large, but we hope he will be arrested very soon.A case of rape has been opened at the station,” said Nyambi.
