The hunger strike at Barberton Medium B Correctional Centre is still on.

Lock up on lifers on hunger strike is 67.

Initialy it was 96 but as the day proceed Twenty Seven (27) lifers withdrew themselves from partaking to hunger strike.

The Area Commissioner of Barberton Correctional facilities Mr Solly Netshivhazwaulu will meet the offenders tommorow for further engagement.
