Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtshweni has received an approval from the President that the funeral of Mr Sam Nzima is declared a Special Official Provincial Funeral Category 2.

The President has instructed that the national flag flies at half mast in the Mpumalanga Province on the day of the funeral as a sign of respect to him.

The Premier will be meeting with Mr Nzima’s family today ( Wednesday 16 May 2018) to brief them and finalise the date of the funeral.

More details will be communicated after the Premier’s meeting with Mr Nzima’s family.
