Police searching for seven men who robbed a betting place

Police are looking for a group of seven unknown men who robbed a betting business place in Secunda on Saturday.

According to information at police disposal, the balaclava-clad group of men that were armed with firearms is alleged to have stormed into the business and pointed the security guard with a firearm, before taking him to the kitchen together with other employees, where they locked them.

They then proceeded to the manager’s office where they took a computer that was connected to the surveillance cameras before demanding money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

Police have opened a business robbery case and no arrest has been made as yet.
