Boschrand school learners and parents barricade R40

Learners and parents of Boschrand Primary School in Msholozi are picketing on the R40 entrance to Msholozi this morning.

MSHOLOZI – They are demanding that the department of education to move the school’s mobile classrooms to what used to be Mama Esther’s Haven Centre, a place which they have earmarked for the school.

Yesterday a neighbour, whose home was used as a pathway to the school, locked gates, blocking any entrance to the school. This happened after several warnings to the school to use alternative ways to enter the school.

White River police are monitoring the situation. The R40 is now operating.
