Desmond is bringing the first ever Nom Nom Geo Chef Annual Winter Charity Picnic. The aim is to entertain the people of Mbombela with his juicy and sumptuous recipes, music by the Buddies and Magatsela More while thinking of those in need at the same time.
This qualified geologist and chef by choice urges attendees to bring along warm clothing, like a blanket, jacket, jersey, to be distributed to various charity homes in Mbombela. Desmond said seven charities had been identified so far.
“We believe and value community development, so we thought of putting a smile on everyone’s faces through entertaining attendees with food, music and limited drinks while they contribute something for a good cause,” said Tshikota.
