Play & Play will once again, for the third time, host the 2019 Annual Funland at Lowveld High School on September 28.

Organisers promise a bigger, better fun day packed with exciting activities such as giant inflatables, enormous slides, entertainment, food stalls and much more.

This year will even introduce the very first Funland family challenge.

Families will register for free on the day to take part in fun activities, including a wipe-out challenge, sack race, two-legged race and tug-of-war… just to name a few.

Families are encouraged to bring their umbrellas, chairs and/or picnic blankets, sunblock, costumes and their fun side.

Food and refreshment stalls will also be available for families to try out all the delectables ranging from burgers, pizzas, shisa nyama, to thirst-quenching cocktails for mommies and daddies.

“When we started Funland, we wanted to create a fun and safe experience for families in the Lowveld.

“A relaxed, family-orientated event, with lots of unique family activities, allowing for a memorable bonding experience. We encourage parents to bring their children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers,” said Shirley Khoza, project manager of Funland.

Ticket prices range from R80 for children over the age of three and R50 for adults 18 and above.

Tickets can be purchased at Webticket (Pick n Pay) and Hotstuff Café (Sonpark) and will include access to all the fun inflatables and games.
