Mozambican elections training underway in White River

68 voting stations in Limpopo and Mpumalanga to be opened on October 15 for Mozambicans to vote.

The Mozambican elections body is training would-be staff in the country’s coming general elections at Ingwenyama Lodge.

Consul Eugenio Langa for Limpopo and Mpumalanga says the trainings are proceeding well.

“We are training them to work in our voting stations both in South Africa and Mozambique,” he said.

He revealed that 40 000 Mozambicans living in Limpopo and Mpumalanga were registered to participate in the elections during the registration process in May.
“We have 68 voting stations spread between the two provinces and we encourage all those who registered to vote to visit the voting stations on October 15 to cast their votes ,” he said.
The training will proceed until this weekend.
