WATCH: Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe
This is South Africa’s third win after the recent victory in 2017.

Miss South Africa 2019, Zozibini Tunzi is the newly crowned Miss Universe.
The pageant took place last night at the Tyler Perry’s Studios in Atlanta, United States of America.
This is South Africa’s third win after the recent victory in 2017 when Demi-Leigh Nel Peters was crowned.
In her final statement Tunzi said, “ I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me with my kind of skin and hair was never to be considered beautiful. I think it is time that stops today, I want children to look at me and see my face and their faces reflected in mine.”
