Social development receives 200 blankets donation for homeless people

Old Mutual in partnership with Rise FM donated blankets to the homeless people in the province.

Bongi Radebe from Old Mutual handed over the 200 blankets donation to the MEC for social development, Thandi Shongwe today on behalf of her company.

She said: “ On behalf of Old Mutual, we’ve responded to the nationwide call for companies to assist government in bringing about relief to our destitute communities all over the country. Partnering with Risefm here in Mpumalanga, we identified bringing about warmth since winter has cropped in, hence the blankets donation, especially for the homeless.”
