Hailing from KaBokweni, this music goddess has taken the industry by storm with her new single, “Fire Love”, which officially premiered on MTV Base on Monday.

“I am over the moon, but humbled as well to have my work featured on national television,” said Deidree with a smile.

Born and baptised Precious Mndawe, she told Lowvelder Express shortly after her new music video had dropped, that she now has to work extra hard to ensure that she takes her career to the next level.

“I have lined up a number of radio station tours throughout the country. I need to ensure that this song remains at the top of the charts,” she continued.

The hit song “Fire Love” was produced by DJ Alfie and the music video shot and directed by DJ Mnyasa.
“I actually owe the success of the song to all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to see it through. Both DJs Alfie and Mnyasa have been amazing,” she acknowledged.
Raised in a musical family, Deidree realised her calling at an early age, but her big break was in 2017 when she released her first hit, “African Child”.
Having worked with a number of experienced people in the industry, she decided to go solo and manage herself.
