Women enjoy the Night of Queens livestream
Nozipho Zee Sifunda, founder of the Night of Queens, an annual women’s social event, hosted a successful virtual get-together amid the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many followed the live stream of the event on Facebook on Saturday. “I once said that this event is not a profit-making business, but it is all about women empowerment,” she said.
Sifunda added that it is high time for every woman to acclimatise herself to the use of technology brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“The camaraderie might not be there, but the bottom line is the motivation and inspiration to help empower others. We made it possible with the support received from a team of highly motivated individuals who share the same vision and purpose,” she explained.
The gathering had previously attracted women from all walks of life to gather under one roof and to be inspired by well-known guest speakers. Saturday was no a different as many were glued to their screens to watch the livestream.
Guest speaker, Mama Skonela touched many hearts as she spoke about her own experiences, especially in her marriage. Skonela told guests how her life changed after her husband lost his job and was unemployed for six years, as well as his sickness and death.
She motivated women to always strive to regain their strength after each and every downfall and suffering. She also encouraged them to reach their turning point in life, regardless of any misfortunes. Viewers were entertained by the outstanding praise and worship performance of songbird, Pretty Mhlongo.
