Police arrest jealous lover for girlfriend’s alleged gruesome murder in Mariti

Mpumalanga police have arrested a 31-year-old suspect in connection with the murder of his 30-year-old lover, Mpilo Glory Sekome from Mariti, Bushbuckridge.

The matter was postponed to September 16 for his formal bail application in the same court. According to Mkhuhlu police spokesperson, Sgt Zanele Sibuyi, Sekome, an employee of Roots Butchery in Hazyview, was found with her throat cut open, allegedly by her partner of six years.
