One suspect linked to Thandeka Mdeliswa’s murder
He was remanded in custody. He will appear in the same court on September 21.
One of the three men arrested in connection with the murder of Ikani actress, Thandeka Mdeliswa appeared in Evander Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Siyabonga Mbatha (25) faces charges of murder after he allegedly shot Mdeliswa on September 3
at her home in Evander. She died in hospital on September 5. Mbatha was remanded in custody.
He will appear in the same court on September 21.

On Saturday, the police arrested three men in connection with the murder as well as unlawful possession of a firearm. “Only one suspect appeared in court as others couldn’t be linked to the matter,” said Monica Nyuswa, NPA spokesperson in Mpumalanga.
