Mtsweni-Tsipane is the first female premier of Mpumalanga and the fifth premier of the province.
She succeeded former premier David Mabuza, the current deputy president of South Africa. Mtsweni-Tsipane had previously served as the MEC for cooperative governance and traditional affairs.
Makhabane is a constant ball of energy. This was evident during his live performances at the memorial and funeral service of the late lead singer of Masibuyele KuJehova, Fifi Anna Mabuza, in KaNyamazane yesterday and this morning.
“My dream is to build multimillion-rand recording studio to benefit provincial artists. I will fulfil this dream before I die,” he said.
