Have you heard about the Amavulandlela Funding Scheme?
The fund was established to help entrepreneurs with disabilities enter the mainstream economy, in response to high levels of poverty and unemployment facing this sector, and in recognition of their fundamental socio-economic rights.

Persons with disabilities can apply for credit facilities ranging from R50 000 to a maximum of R15-million, at an interest rate of prime less 5%.
Who can apply?
• You must be operationally involved in the daily running of the business
• Preference will be given to existing businesses seeking to expand, but the Small Enterprises Finance Agency (Sefa) will also consider supporting start-ups with merit
• Financing applications must be for businesses that are financially sustainable and technically feasible.
For more information on how to apply, visit the website and/or email business plans to Amavulandlela@sefa.org.za or call 012-748-9600.
