Several gospel greats are coming to the Province this weekend
It will be a night of music at Mbombela Stadium.
Gospel icon Big Fish, aka Sipho Makhabane, said the Pre-Easter Prayer and Gospel Festival will have a great range of gospel stars. This was during the media launch hosted at Mbombela Stadium on Thursday.
Wellknown gospel artists such as Takie Ndou, Omega Khunou and Pretty Mhlongo gave a performance as a way to show the public what they can expect on the day of the event.
The event will be held on April 2 from 19:00 to April 3 at 06:00.

“Our aim is to pray for car accidents to decrease on our roads during Easter holidays. Our plan is to gather during the weekend before the Easter weekend.
I would like to thank Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MPTA) for joining forces with us; we would not have been able to host this event with their support. We will have artists from eSwatini, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Polokwane and local artists in the province.
“Our reason for doing this is because not everyone has a vehicle. To avoid restricting a person who does not have a vehicle from attending, we decided that if we start at night and end the next morning, and these people will be able to travel to and from Mbombela.
This will make it possible to accommodate those who use public transport and those who have vehicles. We have partnered with Myboet Transport, which will pick people up from Promenade Centre from 16:00 and take them to Mbombela Stadium for free. The transport will do the same the next day, transporting people from the stadium from 06:00 and taking them back to the centre.”

Immediately when we begin to travel, there are bound to be accidents on the road, and we decided that we will pray that God be with us.” Tickets for the show are available at Computicket and Shoprite for R120, and R250 for VIPs.
