KaNyamazane businessman calls for pride and dignity
The businessman has urged the people of Nsikazi to reclaim their pride.
Theo Nkululeko Mabuza, a well-known 36-year-old businessman born and raised in KaNyamazane, has urged the people of Nsikazi to restore pride and dignity to this historic area.
Mabuza was speaking during Nsizaki’s 50th anniversary celebrations and the unveiling of the new KaNyamazane entrance on Wednesday March 24.
According to this ambitious businessman, the community had to pool their money with his team to establish the KaNyamazane entrance at eMgwenya in honour of Nsikazi.

“We had to unveil KaNyamazane’s name in order to regain its dignity, as it is celebrating its 50th anniversary. It was really a pity for us as people who grew up in KaNyamazane to have an entrance close to the N4, but that did not have a name.
“Every township has an entrance where visitors can see the name of the area. My team and I noticed that KaNyamazane has had no entrance name for the past 49 years. Our long-term plan is to continue developing this entrance area, as we have done with the park next to it. Many unemployed will be able to find work,” he said.
KaNyamazane’s Ward 19 councillor under the City of Mbombela, Denison Mkhatshwa, said, “We would like to thank Theo Mabuza and his team for their excellent work.
Mabuza is among the young boys who grew up in KaNyamazane, and as a municipality, we are delighted that this entrance and the in-progress park will provide job opportunities for the youth of Nsikazi. As a municipality, we would like to encourage any young people with business ideas that will benefit the Nsikazi area to come forth.”
